Anava baixant l’escala de pressa corrents, ell, saltant, anava pujant-la i m’agafà al vol: i allà on l’escala és tan fosca ens besàrem mantes vegades i ningú ens veié. Vaig arribar a la sala amb un bigarrat formigueig de convidats, les galtes em cremaven i també em cremava la boca, pensava que tothom veuria el que allà havíem fet ensems, però ningú se’n adonà. Vaig haver de sortir al jardí, volia veure les flors, no podia esperar de sortir a fora al jardí, allà les roses florien arreu, allà cantaven fort els ocells, com si ho haguessin vist.
