Gewitter im Juni

Sonne krankt, Gebirge kauert,
Schwarze Wetterwolkenwand
Mit geduckten Kräften lauert,
Niedrig flatten scheue Vögel,
Graue Schatten übers Land.

Donner, lange schon zu hören,
Poltert lauter los und klingt
Herrlich auf zu Paukenchören,
Draus trompetenhell und golden
Blitz um Blitz den Schwall durchdringt.

Regen stürzt in dichten Güssen
Gläsern, kalt und silberfahl,
Rennt in Bächen, rauscht in Flüssen
Wild wie lang verhaltenes Schluchzen
Nieder ins erschreckte Tal.

Tempesta al juny

El sol està malalt, les muntanyes s’arrauleixen,
una negra cortina de núvols de tempesta
sotja amb continguda força,
davallant, aletegen ocells espantadissos,
ombres grises es projecten al terreny.

El tro, que se sent per molta estona,
fa fressa més fort i ressona
magnífic com un cor de timbales,
amb això, aguts com trompetes i daurats,
llamp rere llamp penetren la riuada.

La pluja s’abat en forts aiguats, 
vidrenca, freda i argentada,
corre en rierols, bramula en rius
furiosament, com un sanglot molt de temps contingut,
davallant vers la vall esporuguida.
