Das Schwirren eines aufgeschreckten Sperlings begeistert Korf zu einem Kunstgebilde, das nur aus Blicken, Mienen und Gebärden besteht. Man kommt mit Apparaten, es aufzunehmen; doch v. Korf "entsinnt sich des Werks nicht mehr", entsinnt sich keines Werks mehr anläßlich eines "aufgeregten Sperlings".
