Und ringe die bleichen Hände:
O gib Erlösung mir!

Gib mir den Frieden wieder,
Den mir dein Zürnen nahm,

In Erdenweh und Gram!

Zerreisse deine Nebel,
Laß deiner Sonne Strahl
Auf meinen Leiden ruhen
