Hochzeitlied
Language: German (Deutsch)
Available translation(s): ENG
Sie stehen bis zum Grab Dir offen;
So öffne Du Dich ihnen auch!
Laß lieblich auf ihr glühend Hoffen
Hinsäuseln Deines Friedens Hauch!
So laß zu ihren goldnen Stunden
Sie legen hier den besten Grund.
Denn was der Himmel hat verbunden
Das ist und bleibt ein starker Bund!

Wedding Song
Language: English  after the German (Deutsch)
O Heaven, see before you two hearts!
Love has unlocked them!
They wish to share joy and sorrow
And travel through life together!
Love itself is already a prayer!
Its rejoicing enters into Heaven!
Behold them joyously come before you
To pledge themselves to each other at the fountainhead of love!
They stand unlocked to you unto the grave;
So unlock yourself to them as well!
Upon their glowing hopes let beatifically
Sough the zephyr of your peace!
Let them for their golden hours
Lay the best foundation here.
For what Heaven hath joined together,
That is and remains a firm covenant!
