Die Vögel ausgesungen,
Ihr holdes Lied ist nicht verhallt,
Ist nur im Wald verklungen.
Aus allen Zweigen lauscht der Klang
Geheimnisvoll hernieder.
Was je im Wald ein Vöglein sang,
Die Stille tönt es wieder.

Silenci al bosc

I al bosc verdejant els ocells
han cantat també,
el seu cant encisador no s’ha extingit,
només s’ha perdut al bosc.
De totes les branques, el so para l’orella
misteriosament.
El que al bosc un ocell ja ha cantat,
el silenci ho fa ressonar de nou.
