by Borys Dmytrovych Hrinchenko (1863 - 1910)

I tychaja chatynočka
Language: Ukrainian (Українська)
I tychaja chatynočka
V zelenim sadku,
J vrodlyvaja divčynon'ka
V kvitčastim vinku,

I dolen'ka ščaslyvaja...
De znyklo use?
Čom den'-po-dnju mynajučy,
Nam lycho nese?

Ponurylas' chatynočka,
Posochnuv sadok,
Zmarnila vže divčynon'ka,
Ziv’januv vinok...

A dolen'ky ščaslyvoï
Čy to j ne bulo,
Čy hore te, mov chvyljamy,
Ïï zaneslo?

V duši žurbu posijalo,
Zrosylo sl'ozamy,
Bez dolen'ky, bez volen'ky
Bidujemo my!...

I til'ky nam zostajet'sja
Cja pisnja smutna,
Nahaduje pro dolju
Mynulu vona.

I poky šče spivatymem
Ti muky pisni,
Ne zhasnut' nam na kraščeje
Nadiï jasni!
