by Joseph Karl Benedikt, Freiherr von Eichendorff (1788 - 1857)

Im Frühling auf grünem Hügel
Language: German (Deutsch)
Im Frühling auf grünem Hügel,
Da sassen viel Engelein.
Die putzten sich ihre Flügel
Und spielten im Sonnenschein.

Da kamen Störche gezogen
Und jeder sich eines nahm
Und ist damit fortgeflogen
Bis daß er zu Menschen kam.

Und wo er anklopfte bescheiden,
Der kluge Adolar,
Da war das Haus voller Freuden,
So geht es noch alle Jahr.
