by Sergei Aleksandrovich Esenin (1895 - 1925)

Ty zapoj mne tu pesnju
Language: Russian (Русский)
Ty zapoj mne tu pesnju, chto prezhde
Napevala nam staraja mat',
Ne zhaleja o sgibshej nadezhde,
Ja sumeju tebe podpevat'.

Ja ved' znaju, i mne znakomo,
Potomu i volnuj i trevozh',
Budto ja iz rodimogo doma
Slyshu v golose nezhnuju drozh'.

Ty mne poj, nu a ja s takoju,
Vot s takoju zhe pesnej, kak ty,
Lish' nemnogo glaza prikroju,
Vizhu vnov' dorogije cherty.

Ty mne poj, ved' moja otrada —
Chto vovek ja ljubil ne odin
I kalitku osennego sada,
I opavshije list'ja s rjabin.

Ty mne poj, nu a ja pripomnju
I ne budu zabyvchivo khmur:
Tak prijatno i tak legko mne
Videt' mat' i toskujushchikh kur.

Ja navek za tumany i rosy
Poljubil u berezki stan,
I jee zolotistye kosy,
I kholshchovyj jee sarafan.

Potomu tak i serdcu ne zhestko—
Mne za pesneju i za vinom
Pokazalas' ty toj berezkoj,
Chto stoit pod rodimym oknom.
