Verträumt und müde wie ein Schmetterling 
  im September taumelt der Sommer das Gelände entlang.
Altweiberfäden wirren sich um seine zerrissenen Flügel
  und die Blumen, die noch blühen, haben keinen Honig mehr.

Am Hochwald drüben, hinter dem die Sonne glutet,
  lauert die Nacht, gleich einer großen Spinne,
  und wie ein engmaschiges Netz hängt sie die Dämmerung
  vor das verflackernde Abendrot, nach dem der Schmetterling seinen Flug nimmt.
