De les cançons de pobles ja desapareguts sovint sona una tonada familiar que ressona als nostres cors, de manera que, commoguts i amb un toc de tristesa, escoltem atentament, preguntant-nos si allà era la pàtria. Així també és el batec del nostre cor enllaçat per un ferm encanteri al cor del món, que manté el nostre son i la nostra vetlla en harmonia amb el curs del sol i les estrelles. I la tèrbola crescuda dels nostres desitjos més salvatges i el foc febril dels nostres somnis més audaços és esperit de l'esperit primigeni, que mai no ha reposat. Així avancem, torxes en mà, engendrats i nodrits per una antiga i sagrada flama i adreçats vers uns sols sempre nous.
