Regen und Sonne
Language: German (Deutsch)
Trinken, trinken! Alles trinket:
Wald und Wiese, Berg und Flur,
Busch und Baum mit allen Blättern -
Ich allein soll dursten nur?!
Nein, im Krug zur gold'nen Sonne
Giebt es sonnig klaren Wein -
Braunes Mädchen, meine Wonne,
Meine Sonne, schenk mir ein!

Sonne droben mault in Wolken -
Sonne drunten strahlt all' Stund.
Jene Sonne dörrt die Kehle -
Diese feuchtet Herz und Mund.
Und die allerschönste Sonne,
Sie kredenzet mir den Wein:
Braunes Mädchen, meine Wonne,
Meine Sonne, schenk mir ein!

Draußen ist die Welt versunken
In die schaale Wasserfluth;
Doch hier drinnen sprüht in Funken
Sonnenschein und Sonnengluth.
Aus der Flasche, aus der Tonne,
Strömt der ächte Sonnenschein!
Braunes Mädchen, meine Wonne,
Meine Sonne, schenk mir ein!
