O Gottes Friede nur frohlocke,
Nur Liebe uns von diesem Thurm!
Und nie bewege sich die Glocke
Zum Unglück, Jammer, Brand und Sturm!
Zur Liebe, Liebe läute sie,
Aus Liebe nur klingt Harmonie.

Déu! Deixa que la campana s’enlairi joiosa
i que els repics ressonin en l’aire,
que són clars testimonis de la devoció
a la que la nostra fe ens crida!
En tu, oh Creador, en tu creiem;
el repic de campanes és el teu ressò!
De tu ressona i davalla tota la gràcia.
Oh, accepta, per a la teva lloança i glòria,
també els sons del nostre agraïment
des del teu santuari!
Esperem la teva gràcia,
els sons festius et celebren.
Oh, que tan sols la pau de Déu ens exalti,
que tan sols l’amor arribi d’aquesta torre!
I que mai la campana toqui
per desgràcies, laments, incendis o tempestes!
Que toqui només per l’amor,
de l’amor només ressona harmonia.
