Die schmucken Mädel stehen.

Herr Wirt, gib einen Schoppen Wein,
Es darf vom allerbesten sein,
Mir ists beileibe nicht ums Sparen.
Und du, was stehst du so allein,
Du mit den blonden Haaren?

Komm her, du Kleine, sei kein Fratz,
Bald rückt die Musik auf den Platz,
Wir dürfen doch beim Tanz nicht fehlen!
Nachher im Walde, lieber Schatz,
Muß ich dir was erzählen . . .

que ens permet passejar a l’aire lliure
i anar a través dels pobles joiosos
on darrere cada portal
es troben les noies boniques.

Taverner, porta’m un got de vi,
però que sigui del millor,
no vull pas estalviar.
I tu, per què estàs tan sola,
tu, amb els cabells rossos?

Vine aquí, petita, no facis el ronsa,
aviat vindran els músics a la plaça,
no ens podem pas perdre la dansa!
Després al bosc, estimat tresor,
t’haig d’explicar una cosa...
