Wenn einem Mädchen, das uns liebt, Die Mutter strenge Lehren gibt Von Tugend, Keuschheit und von Pflicht, Und unser Mädchen folgt ihr nicht Und fliegt mit neuverstärktem Triebe Zu unsern heißen Küßen hin, [So]1 hat daran der Eigensinn So vielen Anteil, als die Liebe. Doch wenn die Mutter es erreicht, Daß sie das gute Herz erweicht, Voll Stolz auf ihre Lehren sieht, Daß uns das Mädchen spröde flieht, So kennt sie nicht das Herz der Jugend. Denn wenn das je ein Mädchen tut, So hat daran der Wankelmut Gewiß mehr Anteil, als die Tugend.
