Singet in den Lenz hinein,
  Singet laut von Blum' und Blüthe.
      Möchte vor Allem,

  So ein Singevöglein sein!

  Sommervöglein küsset,
  Sommervöglein grüßet
Still und heimlich die Blume sein.
  Schwebet leise zu der Blüthe
Durch den warmen Sonnenschein,
Flüstert ihr in's Ohr hinein
