flammt jubelvoll der Lobgesang!
Dich, Vater aller Geister 
sucht unsers Herzens heilger Dank.
 
Was treu die Liebe pflegte, 
es stand in deiner Vaterhut,
was aus dem Geist sich regte, 
schlug auf zu reiner, lichter Gluth.
 
Im Sonnenschein, in Stürmen 
hast du gar treu für uns gewacht.
Du kannst das Werk beschirmen, 
dein ist die Liebe, dein die Macht.
