by August Silberstein (1827 - 1900)

Grüß' dich Gott, du holder Schatz!
Language: German (Deutsch)
Grüß' dich Gott, du holder Schatz,
mach' an deiner Seite Platz,
schling' die Arme fest um mich
denn ich liebe, liebe dich!

Lass die süßen Äugelein
tausendmal geküsset sein,
und vergelt's aus Herzensgrund
mit dem rothen, rothen Mund.

Bange nicht und glaube fest,
daß mein Herz nicht von dir läßt,
eh' mein Wort nicht Treue hält,
stürzt die ganze, ganze Welt!
