Nächtliches Rauschen, heimliches Lauschen, stille die Welt, ein riesiges Grab; magisch im Dunkeln glühen und funkeln glänzende Sterne leuchtend herab. Bangendes Schweigen, träumerisch neigen dunkelnde Schatten zum Tal sich hin, feindlich doch walten wüste Gestalten, stürmen den liebegequälten Sinn. Freundlicher Schimmer leuchtet nun immer mild durch die Nacht, die tief mich umfängt. Ewige Trauer, frostiger Schauer grausam das arme Herz mir bedrängt.
