Im Tale rinnt der Bach, die Berg' an hoher Seite, Sie grünen weit umher an dieses Tales Breite, Und Bäume mit dem Laube stehn gebreitet, Daß fast verborgen dort der Bach hinunter gleitet. So glänzt darob des schönen Sommers Sonne, Daß fast zu eilen scheint des hellen Tages Wonne, Der Abend mit der Frische kommt zu Ende, Und trachtet, wie er das dem Menschen noch vollende.
