Wenn dann vorbei des Frühlings Blüte schwindet,
So ist der Sommer da, der um das Jahr sich windet.
Und wie der Bach das Tal hinuntergleitet,
So ist der Berge Pracht darum verbreitet.

Daß sich das Feld mit Pracht am meisten zeiget,
Ist, wie der Tag, der sich zum Abend neiget;
Wie so das Jahr enteilt, so sind des Sommers Stunden
Und Bilder der Natur dem Menschen oft verschwunden.
