Sonnen, blendend und verzehrend,
Sterne, blinzelnd, hell und rein.

Nach gar vielen Lichtgestirnen 
Späht der Astronom hinauf; 
So nur geht ihm ganz der reiche,
Ew'ge Himmel leuchtend auf.
