by Julius Mosen (1803 - 1867)

Im Sommer
Language: German (Deutsch)
Durch des Kornes enge Gassen
Langsam zieh' ich wol einher,
Wenn die Aehrn all' erblassen
Von verborg'nem Segen schwer;
Und so wandl' ich hin und sinne,
Und weiß nicht, was ich beginne.

Und der blaue Himmel webet
Sich herunter licht und warm,
Und die ganze Erde schwebet
Bräutlich still in seinem Arm;
Ach, inbrünstig süßes Neigen,
Innig Sehnen, glühend Schweigen!
