Symphony in yellow
Language: English
An omnibus across the bridge
Crawls like a yellow butterfly,
And, here and there, a passer-by
Shows like a restless little midge.

Big barges full of yellow hay,
Are moved against the shadowy wharf,
And like a yellow silken scarf,
The thick fog hangs along the quay.

The yellow leaves begin to fade,
And flutter from the temple elms,
And at my feet the pale green Thames
Lies like a rod of rippled jade.

Sárga szimfónia
Language: Hungarian (Magyar)  after the English
Az omnibusz a hidra bú,
mint sárga pille s szerteszét
sürög-forog, jár-kél a nép,
izeg-mozog, akár a szú.

Bárkákat sárga széna föd,
egyik-másik a révben áll
s mint drága, selymes puha sál
takarja a partot a köd.

A szilfa sárga lombja zúg
s a Templéről idelebeg.
A haloványzöld Themze meg
mint egy opálos, hosszú rúd.
