You only who perform wonders

You only are the one who performs wonders,
You only are the creator who created us,
You only are the redeemer who redeemed us.
To you only we fly for help,
In you only we put our trust,
Nor do we worship any other, o Jesus Christ.
To you we pour out our prayers,
Hear what we ask
And grant what we seek, gracious king.

To love another would be deceitful [for these reasons]¹,
To love another would be great stupidity and sin.
Hear our sighs,
Re-fill us with your grace, o king of kings,
That we may remain joyfully in your service forever.
