In dulci jubilo! Nun singet und seid froh! Wir haben in der Mitte Heut einen Jubilar Von auserlesnem Schnitte, Das ist wohl zehnmahl wahr. Io, jubilo! In dulci jubilo! Laßt brennen lichterloh Die hellsten Freudenflammen Dem würd'gen Jubilar, Und nehmet euch zusammen, Es gilt heut fünfzig Jahr! Io, jubilo! In dulci jubilo! Er drosch kein leeres Stroh, Wer das uns will bestreiten Zu Tort dem Jubilar, Den wollen wir bedeuten, Und kämmen ihm das Haar. Io, jubilo! In dulci jubilo! Es steht hier nicht so, so! Frisch auf, laßt uns erzählen Von unserm Jubilar. Wir können blindlings wählen Es bietet dick sich dar. Io, jubilo! In dulci jubilo! Hübsch fein zum Ach! und O!
