své touhy přestal milovat;
jsem živ už leda pro strádání,
když v srdci pusto je a chlad.

V zlých bouřich osudu
můj věnec už zvadl,
kdys tak svězí přec;
sám žiji, smutný vyhoštěnec,

a čekám jen už na konec...
Tak mrazivého větru s pole sem
Zalehne-li divý hvizd,
sám zbyvší na haluzi holé,
se chvěje poděsěný list.
