Weiß es wohl, woher der Schimmer stammet,
Der dir heut das Antlitz überflammet:
Bist noch in dem Traum der Nacht verloren.

Denkst der Engel, die durchs kleine Fenster
Sich auf Mondesstrahlen zu dir schwangen,
