by Friedrich Heinrich Oser (1820 - 1891)

Welch süßes, leises Klingen
Language: German (Deutsch)
Welch süßes, leises Klingen,
O horch, im Lindengang:
Verborgen die Bienen singen
Den letzten Abendsang.

Kaum wagt's der Bach, zu rinnen,
Als lauscht' er ihnen zu;
Die Blumn schwanken und sinnen
Und senken den Kelch' zur Ruh.

Und durch's Geäst hernieder
Die letzten Strahlen ziehen:
Mir war, als hört' ich wieder
Der Kindheit Melodien.
