Voici venir les temps où tes beaux yeux limpides 
Semblent plus clairs encor e et plus profonds qu’hier, 
Et versent à mon cœur plein de songes vivides  
L’ivresse d’un lever de lune sur la mer.
 
Et les fleurs sont tes yeux, et la lumière blonde  
Ton sourire, et le ciel bleu-frêle ta douceur, 
Et tout l’amour fumant de l’encensoir du monde 
Ta lèvre sur mon âme appuyée, ô ma sœur.
