Refined and brightened
To that sweet, enchanting tone
That is only created by September.
Overnight, ripe summer
Wishes to colour itself for the festival,
Where everything rejoices in completion
And is willing to die.
Tear yourself away, soul, now from time,
Tear yourself away from your anxieties
And make yourself ready for the flight
Into the yearned-for morning.
