Nicht reicher, als im Frühling färben?

Im Hauche des Oktoberwehens?

Krystallner als die klarste Flut
Erglänzt des Auges Tränenquelle, 
Tief dunkler flammt die Abendglut, 
Als hoch am Tag die Sonnenhelle,

Als wer für ewig scheiden muß.
