Pożegnanie
Language: Polish (Polski)
Our translations:  ENG
Widzisz dziewczę chorągiewkę,
Co przy mojej lancy drży?
Zaśpiewam ci o niej śpiewkę,
Ona piekna tak jak ty.

Nie płacz luba, bywaj zdrowa,
Łzy na cięższe zostaw dnie:
Co Bóg sądzi, bywaj zdrowa,
Może wrócę, może nie.

The farewell
Language: English  after the Polish (Polski)
Do you see, girl, the pennant,
Waving from my lance?
I’m going to sing a song about it,
It’s beautiful, like you.

Don’t cry my lovely, be well,
Leave your tears for another day:
As God wills, let us be well,
Maybe I’ll return, maybe not.
