Я помню робкое желанье

Я помню робкое желанье,
Тоску, сжигающую кровь;
Я помню ласки и признанья,
Я помню слезы и любовь!

Шло время… Ласки были реже,
И высох слез поток живой,
И только оставались те же
Желанья с прежнею тоской.

Просило сердце впечатлений,
И теплых слез просило вновь,
И новых ласк, и вдохновений,
Просило новую любовь!

Прошла пора, прошло желанье,
И в сердце стало холодно,
И на одно воспоминанье
Трепещет горестно оно.
