Sia rubello od avaro, mesto egli sia o sereno
Sempre il tuo sguardo è caro, e amore suscita in seno !... 
Se mi guardi mi bei e siem mi fai sofrir
Viver mio ben vorrei d'un tuo sguardo e morir !

Sigui rebel o avar, trist o rerè,
el seu esguard és sempre estimat, i m'omple d'amor!...
Si em mires i alhora em fas patir,
amor meu, voldria viure d'un esguard teu, i morir!

És ple de dolçor, encisa i enamora,
