by Victor August Eberhard Blüthgen (1844 - 1920)

Nun gute Nacht!
Language: German (Deutsch)
Nun gute Nacht!
Es gab so viel zu schauen,
Das hat dem Kinde die blauen
Guckäugelein müde gemacht.

Nun gute Nacht!
Die Blumen schaukeln im Winde,
Sie schlafen mit meinem Kinde;
Es schläft der Sonne Pracht.

Nun gute Nacht!
Das Englein hält die Wacht,
Es regt die Flüglein leise
Und singt eine himmlische Weise
Die ganze Nacht.
