so Nacht für Nacht im Mond zu stehn!
Stünd ich da oben und wär der Mann,
ich legte fix die Leiter an
und käme wieder runter!

to have to stand in the moon night after night!
If I were standing up there and were that man,
I would quickly set up a ladder
and would come down again!
