An Mutter Natur
Language: German (Deutsch)
Our translations:  CAT
Ist des Herbstes Abend nah?
Still und freundlich stehst du da,
Und indem vom Haupte dir
Sinkt des welken Kranzes Zier,
Lächelst du mit Weinen
Mütterlich den Kleinen.

Lächle mich noch einmal an,
Mutter, und entschlummre dann,
Bette dich in süßer Ruh,
Schleuß die müden Augen zu,
Unter [Schnee'es]1 Hüllen
Schlummre sanft im Stillen.

Wenn du dann mit neuer Kraft
Dir vom Schlummer aufgerafft,
[Wenn du aus]2 der Winternacht
Bist zum jungen Tag erwacht,
Grüßen meine Lieder
Dich erstandne wieder.

Oder wenn das neue Licht
Dringt zu meinem Auge nicht --
Sanfte Mutter, wie du willst!
Du mir auch im Tode mild,
Dir, du wandellose,
Ruh' ich still im Schooße.

A la mare natura
Language: Catalan (Català)  after the German (Deutsch)
Add this translation to the Basket
S'acosta el capvespre de la tardor?
Allà estàs, tranquil·la i plàcida, quieta i dolça,
i mentre del teu cap
davalla l’ornament de la garlanda marcida,
somrius entre llàgrimes
amb l'amor d'una mare als més petits.

Somriu-me una vegada més,
mare, i després adormissa’t,
jeu en dolç repòs,
tanca els teus ulls cansats,
sota el blanc embolcall de la neu
dorm plàcidament en la quietud.

Quan, amb forces renovades,
et despertis del son,
de la nit d'hivern
i quan et desvetlli el nou dia,
les meves cançons et saludaran
quan tornis a néixer.

O quan la nova llum
no arribi als meus ulls —
dolça mare, com tu vulguis!
Sigues clement amb mi fins i tot en la mort,
tu, que ets immutable,
reposo tranquil·lament a la teva falda.
