Notturno
Language: German (Deutsch)
Wir gingen einsam durch die Gartenflur
  In stiller Nacht:
Die Sterne und dein Aug' ergossen nur
  Noch Licht und Pracht.

Wir gingen stumm -- du schwebtest droben hoch
  Im Glanzrevier;
Und nur dein Herz, das war auf Erden noch
  Und war bei mir!

Da plötzlich hielt dein Schritt -- Was schaust du, sprich,
  So groß mich an? --
Du fielst mir um den Hals, -- und küßtest mich, --
  Und weintest dann.
