kaum zu hemmen, ziehn,
reißen ihre Pflugschar durch den Grund:
Doch je rasender die Nacken zerrn,
nur so tiefer drückt den Baum sie ein.

Über der Erde Stirne,
durch Tag und Nacht,
führt Frau Sorge
Furche, Furche, Furche ...
Leidenschaften,
kaum zu zähmen, ziehn,
reißen ihre Pflugschar durch den Grund:
Doch je wilder die Dämonen zerrn,
nur so tiefer gräbt den Stahl sie ein.
