només un que sura sota el cel,
i que jo no puc defugir.
Al pit, el cor em salta d’alegria
quan tan sols penso en ell,
però dóna una gran pena a la meva ànima
quan no el puc veure.
Si bé haig de patir molt sovint
per les males llengües,
de cap manera vull deixar,
estimada, d’estar amb tu.
Si jo t’estimo, oh bella criatura,
que importa això als altres.
Cadascú troba un amor
que ningú pot prohibir.
Ah, estimat tresor, permet-me
de besar la teva boca,
puix que l’adorable rostre
em fereix tan durament.
