du willst mir gar keinswegs gefallen.
Wann ich dein denk,
dein Nam mich kränkt,
ich kann nicht fröhlich werden
allhie auf dieser Erden;
du bleckst dein Zähn,
als wollst du mich gar fressen,
du meinst vielleicht,
ich hab Christi vergessen?

O Tod, wie kannst Du sein
so gar vermessen?
Du meinst, ich hab
des großen Streits vergessen?
Du Totenmann, sag mir jetzt an,
wie ist es dir damals ergangen.
Du meinst, du hättst Christum gefangen,
der dich im Sieg mit deinem Krieg
hat ganz und gar verschlungen,
dahin darfst nimmer kommen.
