from Volkslieder (Folksongs)

Verlâssen bin i
Language: Bavarian (Boarisch)
Verlâssen, verlâssen, verlâssen bin i!
Wia der Stan af der Strâssen, ka Diandle mâg mi!
Drum geh i zum Kirchlan, zum Kirchlan weit 'naus,
durt knia i mi nieder und wan mi hâlt aus.

In Wâld steht a Hügerl, viel Bleamerln blüahn drauf,
durt schlâft mein arm's Diandle, ka Liab wêckt's mehr auf.
Durthin is mei Wâllfahrt, durthin is mei Sinn,
durt mirk i recht deutlich wia verlâssen i bin.
