Auf dem Brombeerstrauche
Language: German (Deutsch)
Auf dem Brombeerstrauche
sitzt ein kleiner Vogel
unter blüh'nden Gräsern,
blauen Glockenblumen,
rosenroten Winden.
Reife Beeren nicken
von den grünen Ranken,
und die Mücken tanzen
in der Abendsonne.
Meint ihr, dass das Vöglein
nach den Beeren hüpfe,
nach den Mücken hasche?
Nein! Es singt so traurig
in den Sommerabend,
dass die weite Wiese
sich in Tränen badet,
und es horchen alle:
Winden, Glockenblumen,
Gras und Kräuterblüten.
"Fröhlich war ich gestern,
traurig bin ich heute,
wandern muss ich morgen."
