Morgens früh im Walde hört' ich die Vögelein Sie sagten mir so freundlich; das schönste Lieb ist dein! Sie sprachen selbst mir traulich von Nächtig süsser Stund' von Küssen und von Träumen, von holden Rosenmund! Sie zwitschern all' und flöten vom zarten Liebchen mein. Sie sahen's ja bezaubernd im stillen Mondenschein. Als ich so freudig lauschte, dünkt's mir, es sei ein Scherz nicht wusst' ich, waren's Vöglein, oder war's mein Herz!
