Im rauschenden Bach, im brausenden Wald
in schäumenden Meer ergiesst sich mein Herz
Die Liebe wohnt drinnen, unfasslich erglüht
des Glückes Erinnern in ewigen Trieb

Unfasslich erscheint der nahenden Tag,
die sehnende Stunde, des Dasein's Genuss!
Es schwinden die Schanken, es dehnt sich die Brust
die Welt zu begrüssen im weilenden Kuss

In Allem, was lebt, wohnst du, o Geliebte,
es ahnt dich mein Herz an jeglichem Ort
Nie seh' ich die Erde allein und verlassen
ich seh' sie mit dir, o schimmernde Lust!

Nie ahn' ich den Himmel, als kenn' er dich nicht
ich seh dich als Göttin und so wird es Licht
Nie fühl' ich mein Herz verlassen von dir
so lebe ich ewig in ewiger Lieb'!
