La Peri e Coro Dormi ora e riposa sognando intensi profumi, più piena di balsami si fa l'aria, come rinasce la Fenice dal magico rogo allorché intona il suo canto di morte. Dormi ora e riposa sognando intensi profumi, tu, che fedele più di ogni altra hai amato! Così lei disse, e un respiro divino alitò, dalle sue labbra, in quel posto, facendo vibrare una corona di luce e inondando il volto dei due di un tale chiarore, che entrambi, giacenti, sembravano santi. Li veglia, intanto, la Peri e una luce lieve continua a rifulgere nello loro notte mortale, fino alla resurrezione delle loro anime.
