Thy smile is like a morning sky,

Les fondàries tenen una música suau i fluixa
quan, a dalt, es desperta el vent vivaç,
m'atrau, em tempta a marxar
per veure el país on es troben els coralls.
Per tossals i prades, per herbeis i rierols,
quan la nit és negra, quan el sol és alt,
aquella música em cerca i em troba encara,
per dir-me on es troben els coralls.
Sí, fes-me cloure les parpelles, està bé,
però, lluny, volen ràpid les quimeres,
els móns rodolants d'onades i carculles
i tots els països on es troben els coralls.
Els teus llavis són com la vermellor del sol ponent,
el teu somriure és com el cel del matí,
però deixa'm, deixa'm marxar
per veure el país on es troben els coralls.
