Vier Lieder für 1 Singstimme mit Pianoforte , opus 45

by Max Stange (1856 - 1932)

1. In der Frühe  [sung text not yet checked]

Language: German (Deutsch)
Kein Schlaf noch kühlt das Auge mir,
Dort gehet schon der Tag herfür
An meinem Kammerfenster.
Es wühlet mein verstörter Sinn
Noch zwischen Zweifeln her und hin
Und schaffet Nachtgespenster.
-- Ängste, quäle
Dich nicht länger, meine Seele!
Freu' dich! Schon sind da und dorten
Morgenglocken wach geworden.

4. Im Sommer  [sung text not yet checked]

Language: German (Deutsch)
Es winken und nicken hervor aus dem Korn
Die Blumen, die roten und blauen,
Und tauige Röslein von Busch und Dorn
Verstohlen herüberschauen.

O Liebe, o Wonne, wie reich erblüht!
Vorüber das Suchen und Schweifen!
Still in sich selber die Seele glüht
Und die Früchte des Lebens reifen.

Text Authorship:

  • by Carl (Theodor) Weitbrecht (1847 - 1904), "Im Sommer", written 1873, appears in Jugendstimmungen
