Hur om hösten Vakor fångas?
Jag skall vara fågelfängarn,
Du skall låtsa vara Vaka.
Märk hur fågelfängarn talar:
"Flyg ej undan, sköna Vaka,
Sitt på klasen trygg och stilla,
Snaran gör dig ingen skada,
Snaran vill din hals blott smeka."
Ha, din skalk, du lät dig fånga;
Kyss mig nu, så skall du slippa.
